BowBuddy is still being built, but already has some great features that we are fine-tuning with our alpha-testers.
Handicaps and classifications are automatically calculated and clearly shown before being applied to your score.
The "bread and butter" of records systems, BowBuddy shows all score records in one place with powerful filtering and export options so that you can customise the data to gain insights into your members' performance.
Use the easy-to-understand charts to see how you are performing over time, including tracking your archer and score handicaps for both indoor and outdoor rounds
BowBuddy makes it really easy for you to see all of your members' handicaps, when they were achieved, and their improvement. These are split out by bow style and displayed for indoor and outdoor seperately.
There is always more to be done, but these are the things we think need to be sorted before we can fully open the doors.
All of the regular scoring stuff is already developed and working well.
When entering a score, it is allocated a handicap and a classification, as well as the adjusted score based on your current handicap. If you have qualified for an improved classification or handicap, then that is awarded to you automatically.
There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to find the records you want to see, which is why BowBuddy allows you to filter any table for any value in any column!
Want to know what classification or handicap a score would give you? We've created a suite of simple tools that allow you to find out.
BowBuddy contains lots of detailed information about your archery, but sometimes you just want a quick overview. We are going to create a dashboard with widgets that pull out vital information from the depths of the system and display it to you in one place.
We have user accounts that link to member accounts with clubs, so our registration system needs to be robust enough to allow you to find yourself!
Hopefully you have lots of members, we've created tools that allow you to manage them.
It's nice to know when something good happens, so we've added a notification system that pops up to tell you.
Everyone loves a spreadsheet, so we let you download any of the tabular data views as a CSV or XLSX file - and yes, any filters you have applied there are also applied to the outputted files.
We want to know what you think of BowBuddy, and so we've opened up a feedback loop so that you can report problems and tell us what features you'd like to see adding to the system.
Running an internal competition shouldn't be hard, so we're going to make a system that takes all the pain out of calculating rankings. You'll be able to define the rules of the competition, and any qualifying scores will register automatically with it. You'll then be able to see the results as they come in, on a publicly accessible page that anyone with the link can see.
Of course, we won't stop there! Take this with a pinch of salt, but here are some of the ideas we're thinking about adding...
